The canyon Rakitnica is 26 kilometers long and one of the deepest in the Europe. The canyon is dividing two mountains, Bjelašnica mountain on the right side and Visočica mountain on the left side. On some parts over 300 meters deep and on some parts 1 meter wide, so it is possible to touch both mountains with hands. A place where untouched nature prevails, the river Rakitnica carves a series of canyons, rapids, waterfalls and tranquil pools so visitors to this peace of heaven on Earth long remeber all the charms and challenges that this area offers.
